Holy Crap its been a whole year since last updating!

As I was just working on the new landing page for www.chrispund.com I realized that it has been more than a year since I last updated this blog. Well, it is about that time.

Funny thing is that the update I did a year ago about getting a new web design client is basically what this post could be about to - I wrapped up working with them as well as another new client and finished him off in just a few weeks after I GRADUATED!

Hopefully I’ll be able to keep this a little better updated until the new Chris Pund.com website launches, who knows when that will be!

ProfessionalGFX: Secured New Website Development Client

I had a great meeting with the owner of Sandler and Associates the other evening and she has decided to use ProfessionalGFX as her web development firm to put together her website.

She has enlisted us to build her a fully functional website featuring an easy to update layout utilizing a content management system and also with a blog for weekly or monthly updates that she can share.

The project will run probably the course of the summer because of times that she will be on vacations and times that I will be away. However, we are both optimistic that it can be finished by the end of August, which is great news….it will be even better when it gets finished before then!

Wow it has been a while since I have posted on here. I apologize to anyone who may actually be subscribed to the subscription for this blog. I am going to try and post more on this site over the next few months to give updates on what I have been up and on the projects that I am working on, so be on the look out!

I had been reading about a guy who has been creating about 3-4 sites a week based on celebrities. Each site was only a couple pages with very basic info- biography, pictures, links. Yet he loaded them up with AdSense and is making $2.00+ from each site per day. Hes now up to a collection of 20 sites I believe.

So, I decided to give the strategy a try. I created a site on the first celebrity that I thought of that wasn’t always in the spot light but is still active in TV and movies….Raven Symone from Disney’s That’s So Raven and other stuff.

I searched for a domain name and came up with www.theravensymone.com. Not too bad I don’t think. Now, I put the site together in a couple hours over two days.

So, this is my little experiment. Hopefully over the next couple weeks I can create up to another 5-10 of these sites, submit them to some different places for link exchanges and see if I can get some money back from them.

Check the site out and give me a little love, I am interested in how much they may pay. Let me know your thoughts…now its time to check out get some SEO for some tips on getting some traffic!

2006 - A Delayed Review

So after reading about everyone else and how they did in 2006, I thought it was about time that I reflected back and looked at what was accomplished as well as what I want to do now that 2007 is here. So I put up a pretty lengthy post at Dorm Room Biz about everything that happened with me business and website wise in 2006 and what my resolutions are for 2007.

Dorm Room Biz is Down :-(

This is killing me. My main website, Dorm Room Biz, is down. It has been down for the past couple days. Somehow I did not get notified that the domain was about to expire and it did on Dec. 6 or 7th. So I immediatey renewed it and the registrar told me that it would take 24 hours to come back in my account and be active. Here we are 3 days later and the site is still down!

I am sweating as I wait for this renewal to go through so that I can get the site back up. Although AdSense is the only revenue that I make from the site, I still figure that it has cost me a couple bucks each day it has been down, loosing me the money that it cost to renew it. GAH!!!!!!!!!!!

Finals Week…ahhh!

Finals week is here..damn.

I have 5 finals to take, 1 of which is a presentation and 1 is a one page essay on two books that we read, the other 3 however will be the normal multiple choice, fill in the blank, and essay questions.

Anyway, you probably wont see much action from me over the next week on this blog as I will be studying for my finals and also trying to finish up a client project by the end of the week. More to come on this later!
